Yousef AlYousefi is CEO at Joa Capital, an alternative investment firm licensed by the Saudi Capital Markets Authority, where he is also managing partner at S3 Ventures, Joa Capital’s flagship venture capital investment vehicle.
Prior to founding Joa Capital, Yousef co-founded Marco Partners, a strategic advisory and investment firm that counts the largest Saudi companies and ministries as its clients as well as a number of very successful tech startups. Prior to that, he co-founded Riyad Taqnia Fund, Saudi Arabia’s first institutionally backed venture capital fund.
Yousef started his career as an engineer in the oil and gas sector at Saudi Aramco and Schlumberger. He sits on the board of directors of Saudi Post and Logistics Company (SPL), MedGulf Insurance, Saudi Airlines Catering Company, and Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCO). Previously he sat on the boards of Saudi Fransi Capital, Leejam Sports Company and the investment committee of the Saudi Venture Capital Company (SVC).
Yousef holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
